Folex Auto is an online marketplace that connects car buyers with private sellers and dealers across Nigeria. We bring supply and demand together in one place - we are not a car dealer ourselves.

How buyers and sellers use Folex Auto
Buyers browse the marketplace, shortlist cars and reach out to sellers through enquiries, phone or WhatsApp. On eligible listings, a buyer can reserve a car to arrange an inspection before committing. Sellers and dealers publish listings, respond to enquiries, and agree the sale directly with the buyer. The transaction itself - viewing, inspection, negotiation and payment - happens between the buyer and the seller.
Our relationship with vehicle sellers
Folex Auto is a listing platform, not a party to the sale. We do not own the vehicles listed, we do not take possession of them, and we do not act as an escrow or payment holder for private sales. Sellers are responsible for the accuracy of their listings and for the vehicles they offer. Buyers are responsible for verifying the car, its documents and the seller before paying.

- Review listing content before it goes live (a content check, not a vehicle inspection).
- Operate a verification step that some dealers complete to display a verified badge.
- Provide a Report tool so users can flag suspicious listings for our team to review.
- Publish free, practical safety and buying guidance.
What we do not do
- We do not inspect, certify or guarantee the condition of any vehicle.
- We do not verify ownership or customs documents for listings.
- We do not hold payments or act as escrow for private sales.
- We do not guarantee any transaction between a buyer and a seller.
