The Business Operations Manager will oversee the day-to-day operational delivery of Folex Auto Market as one of Foten Group's businesses. Folex-focused responsibilities include dealer onboarding, listing quality, customer support, marketing coordination, partnerships and team performance.

Folex Auto Market responsibilities

• Coordinate Folex dealer onboarding, listing quality and marketplace growth.
• Supervise the two Folex Field Sales & Business Development Consultants.
• Coordinate Folex customer support, business development, partnerships and marketing.
• Monitor Folex operational and commercial metrics; escalate significant risks early.
• Maintain clear records of Folex-related decisions, expenses, activities and outstanding actions.
• Convert founder priorities into clear tasks, deadlines and measurable deliverables for Folex.
• Create weekly, monthly and quarterly Folex operating plans.
• Track team performance and accountability across the Folex team.
• Prepare concise weekly Folex management reports for the Founder / Group Director.
• Support budgeting, supplier oversight and approved expense tracking for Folex.
• Protect confidential Folex company, customer and applicant information.
• Avoid entering Folex contracts or making significant financial commitments without written authority.

Requirements

• Experience in business operations, general management, project management or commercial operations.
• Experience supervising staff, contractors or service providers.
• Strong planning, organisation and problem-solving skills.
• Strong written and spoken English.
• Confidence communicating with business owners, customers and technical teams.
• Ability to work independently with limited supervision.
• Good commercial judgement.
• Comfortable using spreadsheets, dashboards and online collaboration tools.
• High level of honesty, discretion and accountability.

Desirable experience

• Startup, marketplace, technology, automotive, property-management, fintech or energy-related experience.
• Experience growing an early-stage business.
• Experience managing sales, marketing or customer-acquisition teams.
• Experience with budgets, suppliers and operating procedures.
• Familiarity with the Nigerian business environment.
